Blue Winged Scoliid or Polistes Metricus
the beautiful blue wasps of my childhood
slender wings the same substance as head
thorax petiole wing sting
articulated bodies of polistes, vespidae
the articulation of my connection
the worlds
the words the little cells
their hotly constructed paper houses
in the dark hot corners of our houses
I know or have been told the texture of brain
is more like vapor than paper imagine
such softness as hard thoughts fly through
waspish with sting and shine of hard
surface hexagonal engineering
